Job Responsibilities 

  • Design visually compelling and effective user interfaces for web, mobile, and social media platforms.
  • Develop and produce a range of creative assets such as illustrations, infographics, and other visual content for portfolio companies and the agency itself.
  • Work closely with Growth Team Leads to produce new ideas for creative and promotional campaign development and deliver high-quality creative output to achieve growth targets/ goals.
  • Generate and develop deeply integrated ideas across all digital touchpoints of the consumer journey.
  • Creating engaging and effective designs for digital advertising campaigns, landing pages, email marketing, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including leadership, marketing, content, and development teams, to ensure that designs are consistent with overall brand standards and marketing goals.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and tools to ensure that our designs remain fresh and cutting-edge. 
  • Ability to work remotely or in a hybrid working environment.

First 30 Days: Data Acclimatization and Performance Metrics Understanding

  • Data Orientation:
    • Gain an understanding of how data is currently used in design decisions at the agency.
    • Learn about the key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that the agency tracks for design effectiveness and client satisfaction.
  • Analytics Tools Familiarization:
    • Get trained on analytics tools used by the agency (such as Google Analytics) and how these integrate with design decisions.
    • Start reviewing current data sets to understand trends, user behaviors, and areas of opportunity.
  • Project Analysis:
    • Review past projects with a focus on data-driven outcomes and performance metrics.
    • Understand how design choices impacted user engagement, conversion rates, and client ROI.

First 60 Days: Implementing Data-Driven Design and Performance Evaluation

  • Data-Driven Project Contribution:
    • Begin incorporating data insights into design decisions for ongoing projects.
    • Propose design changes or tests based on data analysis to improve user experience and performance metrics.
  • Performance Tracking:
    • Start tracking the performance of designs implemented, analyzing user interaction, conversion rates, and client feedback.
    • Regularly review design performance with the Growth Team, adjusting strategies based on data insights.
  • Collaborative Analysis:
    • Work closely with the marketing and analytics teams to understand the wider impact of design choices.
    • Share insights and data-driven recommendations with the team to foster a culture of data-oriented design.

First 90 Days: Leading Data-Driven Design Strategy and Performance Optimization

  • Strategic Design Leadership:
    • Fully lead design projects with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making.
    • Establish a systematic approach for integrating data analysis into all design processes.
  • Performance Improvement Initiatives:
    • Identify and implement new initiatives based on data to enhance design effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Evaluate the success of these initiatives through measurable outcomes and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Data-Driven Culture Advocacy:
    • Advocate for a data-driven approach within the design team and across the agency.
    • Organize workshops or training sessions for team members to enhance their understanding of data utilization in design.
  • Long-Term Planning:
    • Develop a long-term plan for how the design team will continuously use data to drive decisions and measure performance.
    • Set future goals for the team, focusing on innovation in design based on emerging data and trends.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree/education in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
  • At least 8+ years of experience in UI/Visual Design, multimedia marketing communications, and graphic design, preferably in a marketing agency setting.
  • Proven track record of driving results on creative projects
  • Strong portfolio showcasing various design skills and experience working with various digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe CC Design Suite (PS, AI, ID, AE), and Keynote. 
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and to present ideas in a compelling way. 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Experience working with web development teams is a plus.
  • Experience with the following tools/tech is highly preferred:
    • Asana
    • Google Suite 
    • Slack
    • Google Analytics
    • Excel
  • Big bonus points for experience in web design 
  • Agency experience preferred but not required

Additional information

This is a full-time position in a fast-paced, growing environment with flexible working hours, as we operate in multiple time zones. The ideal candidate should be available for occasional early or late meetings to accommodate team members in different time zones.
