Azarian Growth Agency (A-Growth) is seeking a motivated and creative Link Building Intern to join our SEO team. This remote unpaid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in link-building and SEO, essential components of digital marketing.

You’ll work closely with experienced SEO professionals, helping to improve search rankings and drive organic traffic by building high-quality backlinks. This internship is perfect for a current student or recent graduate eager to grow a career in SEO and digital marketing.

Note: This internship lasts 3-6 months, and the best-performing interns will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time paid position based on their performance.

Key Responsibilities

Link Building:

  • Research and identify potential websites for backlinks in various niches.
  • Assist with outreach to website owners, bloggers, and influencers to secure backlinks.
  • Help with guest posting initiatives and other content-driven link-building tactics.
  • Monitor competitors’ backlink profiles to identify strategic opportunities.

SEO Strategy:

  • Assist in optimizing link-building strategies for the best SEO impact.
  • Use SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz) to analyze the success of campaigns.
  • Track and report on link-building performance and metrics.

Outreach & Communication:

  • Manage communications and follow-ups with outreach contacts.
  • Maintain an organized database of outreach targets and track progress.

Content Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the content team to align link-building efforts with ongoing content creation.
  • Assist in creating outreach templates and SEO-optimized content where necessary.

30-60-90 Day Plan

First 30 Days:

Understand the basics of link building, SEO tools, and outreach processes.

Begin researching potential backlink opportunities and competitor analysis.

Shadow senior team members in link-building outreach.

Days 31 to 60:

Take on responsibility for specific link-building campaigns.

Manage and report progress on outreach activities.

Develop an understanding of advanced SEO metrics and tools.

Days 61 to 90+:

Lead your own link-building projects with minimal supervision.

Contribute to refining outreach strategies and campaign effectiveness.

Regularly report on campaign outcomes, backlink quality, and SEO improvements.

Performance will be reviewed for potential transition to a full-time role.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in SEO and digital marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and link building is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and within a remote team environment.
