The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist role leads the execution of marketing strategy and relationship management for our clients. Senior Digital Marketing Specialist work with cross-functional team members to experiment, test and evolve marketing strategies and campaigns that drive growth for our clients using media, design, and data/technology. Job responsibilities

  • Act as the Growth-Marketing Product Owner for the client and your team:
    • Manage and execute growth-marketing strategies for clients; develop a strong and clear understanding of their vision and goals in order to lead cross-functional team projects against milestones and deadlines
    • Organize, refine and prioritize relative client backlogs of projects, tasks and deliverables – clearly articulate, refine and guide the team’s understanding of the client’s highest priorities
    • Lead and facilitate team planning/review calls
    • Inspire, recognize, coach, and lead teammates on a day-to-day basis; be a champion of an Agile mindset and culture
  • Be accountable for achieving and reporting on goals across marketing channels:
    • Manage the full-spectrum of marketing services that the client receives:
      • Paid ads (Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube)
      • Affiliate marketing (networks + publishers)
      • Social media
      • Design & content-creation (Ads, Landing Pages, Website, Email, Blog)
      • Web development
      • SEO / SEM
      • Virtual events (webinars, etc.)
      • PR
      • Tracking, analytics and reporting
    • Create, manage and experiment using A/B tests to increase conversion metrics
    • Conceive and execute on a wide range of campaigns to drive awareness, acquisition, engagement and retention
    • Regularly analyze data to monitor channel performance and uncover areas for improvement
  • Prepare and present recommendations, reports, and findings from experimental data and ongoing campaigns – both internally to the team and externally to the client
  • Develop strong client relationships by leading presentation and review meetings, demonstrating and sharing expertise in media strategy, and driving continuous value for business outcomes
  • Prioritize work and manage time effectively; serve as a multiplier by driving the team to improve effectiveness and performance

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • At least 3+ years’ experience in one of the growth marketing domains (SEO, email marketing, Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, social platforms, content marketing, web development)
  • Strong project management skills: ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritize high impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward.
  • Outstanding written, oral and organizational ability
  • Proven ability to synthesize and interpret data, market, and customer insights into successful marketing strategies and creative execution – this role will be both creative and analytical, so it’s critical to be able to do both
  • Strong creative lens and taste with a proven ability to look at marketing communications through the eyes of the audience
  • You are scrappy and find ways to move things forward without always waiting on external resources. You independently get things done and are motivated by going deep into execution mode as much as by zooming out to the big picture.
  • Experience in marketing campaign management (collateral, reporting & analytics)
  • Experience with the following tools/tech is highly preferred:
    • Asana
    • Google Suite
    • Slack
    • Google Analytics
    • Excel

First 30 Days: Orientation and Strategy Development

  1. Familiarize with the agency’s methodologies, tools (like Asana, Google Suite, Slack, Google Analytics, Excel), and current client projects.
  2. Understand the specific goals, challenges, and expectations of each client.
  3. Review existing marketing strategies and campaigns, and start identifying potential areas for improvement or new opportunities.
  4. Begin building relationships with team members and understanding their roles and expertise.
  5. Start executing revised or new growth marketing strategies for clients.

Next 30 Days (Days 31-60): Implementation and Team Coordination

  1. Continue executing revised or new growth marketing strategies for clients.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are on track and align with client goals.
  3. Initiate A/B testing for various campaigns to optimize conversion metrics.
  4. Regularly analyze campaign data to monitor performance and make necessary adjustments.

Final 30 Days (Days 61-90): Analysis and Client Relationship Strengthening

  1. Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies and their impact on client goals.
  2. Prepare and present reports on campaign performance both internally and to clients.
  3. Establish a cycle of continuous improvement for marketing strategies based on data analysis and client feedback.
  4. Strengthen client relationships by demonstrating clear value and strategic insights.
