We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Creative Growth Lead to build and oversee our agency’s creative (copy + design) team. This role heads our agency’s creative services to deliver brand-aligned and trendsetting written + visual collateral for marketing campaigns, advertising funnels and promotions. You will work closely with Growth-Marketing teams to deliver engaging assets and produce high-quality growth results for our clients. You should be extremely creative, dedicated, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job responsibilities

  • Own the creative strategy, design and copy direction of all assigned projects; transform rough ideas and general concepts into final creative outputs
  • Inspire, generate, and develop ideas that are strategically-informed and deeply integrated across all digital touch-points of the consumer journey
  • Work closely with Growth Team Leads to produce new ideas for creative and promotional campaign development; act as the agency expert for delivering high-quality creative output, from ideation to execution, in order to achieve growth targets/ goals
  • Serve as creative project lead, trafficking and coordinating multiple resources to ensure deliverables are executed on time + within scope
  • Build, lead and manage a team of creatives:
    • Manage the production of all creative assets from start to finish, including reviews, feedback, and approval
    • Streamline creative processes to increase productivity and quality of execution
    • Continuously improve and optimize all creative deliverables based on past learnings, as well as create best practices for creative executions
    • Provide hands-on coaching and feedback to help grow functional skills and leadership capability within the creative team
  • Remain current on emerging trends in digital technology and assess new data to incorporate new tools/tech into your creative strategy + execution

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or similar field
  • At least 6+ years of experience in multimedia marketing communications and graphic/brand design
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results on creative projects
  • Proficiency in: Figma, Adobe CC Design Suite (PS, AI, ID, AE), and Keynote
  • Detailed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas in a compelling way both internally and to clients
  • Creative, strategic, and analytical mindset with advanced understanding of design principles that deliver top-notch assets and inspire people to take action
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize work on multiple projects simultaneously, as well as manage multiple in-house/external resources
  • Knowledge of design language and best practices for how copy should be executed
  • You have a creative lens and taste with a proven ability to look at marketing communications through the eyes of the audience
  • You are scrappy and find ways to move things forward without always waiting on external resources. You independently get things done and are motivated by going deep into execution mode as much as by zooming out to the big picture.
  • Experience in marketing campaign management (collateral, reporting & analytics)
  • Experience with the following tools/tech is highly preferred:
    • Asana
    • Google Suite
    • Slack
    • Google Analytics
    • Excel
  • Agency experience preferred but not required
