About the Position

We are expanding and are looking for a mid-level link-building specialist to join our team.

This is a remote position. The ideal candidate will have a self-starter attitude and a high level of ownership, self-motivation, and accountability. Are you ready to join a team that iterates fast, learns, and repeats? 

Responsibilities

  • Contact and build relationships with other websites and blog owners 
  • Develop tactics and repeatable methodologies to acquire quality links for clients successfully
  • Conduct online research to identify suitable websites for clients 
  • Research and analyze the competitor’s backlink profile
  • Generate measurable results and report consistently 
  • Help execute new marketing campaigns and growth hacks
  • Work closely with writers to create SEO-friendly content
  • Stay current with SEO industry trends and best practices

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in link-building
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Moz and Ahrefs
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of SEO, off-page optimization, and digital PR is desired 
  • High work ethics and honesty
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is a big plus.

In your first 30 days, you will…

  • Review and assess the current link-building strategies and processes implemented by the team.
  • Familiarize yourself with the existing link-building tools, resources, and databases utilized within the company.
  • Conduct an in-depth analysis of competitor link profiles and identify potential gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Begin contributing to ongoing link-building campaigns by assisting with outreach, content creation, and relationship management tasks

In your first 60 days, you will…

  • Take ownership of specific link-building projects and initiatives, demonstrating your ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Develop and execute creative outreach strategies to engage with relevant bloggers, journalists, and webmasters.
  • Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and create link-worthy assets that align with targeted link-acquisition goals (infographics, ebooks, and more)
  • Participate in regular brainstorming sessions with the team to generate innovative ideas and solutions for overcoming link-building challenges.

In your first 90 days, you will…

  • Lead the execution of larger-scale link-building campaigns from start to finish, demonstrating your ability to strategize, plan, and execute comprehensive outreach strategies.
  • Analyze the performance and impact of link-building activities on organic search rankings, traffic, and domain authority metrics.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within the link-building workflow and propose solutions to streamline operations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, sharing insights and best practices to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Explore advanced link-building tactics and techniques, such as broken link building, unlinked brand mentions, and influencer collaborations, to further enhance the company’s link profile and SEO performance.
